What counts as an AI generation? +
Any AI-powered action — outline, full draft, paragraph rewrite, meta description, alt text, SEO title suggestion, or internal-link scan. Each call counts as one generation. The current count is always visible in the editor header.
What happens if I exceed my monthly AI quota? +
Free plan calls are blocked once you hit your monthly cap (you'll see a friendly paywall). Paid plans automatically roll into overage at $0.05 per extra generation, capped at $50/month so you can't get surprise-billed. Raise or lower the cap any time from /app/billing.
How does the trial work? +
Paid plans include a 7-day trial (14 for Agency). You'll set up a payment method through Shopify Billing, but you won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time during the trial and you won't pay a cent.
Can I switch plans? +
Yes, anytime from the in-app /app/billing page. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
What if I uninstall? +
Shopify cancels your subscription automatically. We delete all your shop-scoped data (drafts, templates, analytics, authors) within 7 days of Shopify's redact webhook firing — well within the 30-day GDPR window.
Do you offer refunds? +
Charges are non-refundable except where required by law. If you were charged in error, email billing@blockpress.app within 14 days and we'll make it right.
Where does my data live? +
On Vercel (US) for hosting and Supabase Postgres (US) for storage. TLS in transit, encrypted at rest. AI prompts and content go to Anthropic, which does not train on API inputs.
Will you train AI on my content? +
No. AI prompts and content are sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which is contractually prohibited from training on commercial-API inputs. We never share your content with any other party.
